How to Screen Record on Mac [Macbook or Desktop]
In this video, I'll show you how to screen record on mac desktop or your macbook. The easy way to record your macbook screen is from a built in software already installed on your mac.
The first step is go to your spotlight search option in the top right of your navigation. Then search for the Quicktime player application and select it. Now in your dock, right click on the quicktime icon and you'll be given a few different options. Select start screen recording.
A small menu will appear which will give you the options to record your entire screen, record a specific window, or recorded a selected area of your screen. You can also select options to choose where you're screen recording will save to, if you want a timer, and also what microphone you'll be using for your screen recording.
After making the selections you want, you can click on start screen recording and then it'll be recording your screen. A small icon will appear in your top navigation showing you that your screen is being recorded. To stop the screen recording, select that icon in your top navigation and it'll end the screen recording and save it to the location you specified and pull up your screen recording on your mac.
Now you can save, make edits to your recording, or export it as a different file size and to a different location. Those are the steps for recording your screen on your mac desktop or macbook laptop.
