Follow the steps given below to change the mail server IP address in WHM:
Step::1 Login to WHM root
Step::2 Navigate to Service Configuration module
Step::3 Now go to Exim Configuration Manager
Step::4 Scroll down to Domains & IPs section and SWITCH ON the option- "Reference /etc/mailips for outgoing SMTP connections"
Step::5 Click on Save button
Step::6 Now go to back to homepage and click on Plugins
Step::7 Then go to ConfigServer Explorer
Step::8 Jump on to etc directory
Step::9 Find "mailips" file and click on edit icon
Step::10 Now enter here the changed Mail server IP and click on save button
