Previous video on saving audio to target loudness in Audacity is here: • Save Audio To Target Loudness In Auda... This follow-on video shows you how to save your final audio file to a target average loudness level using Reaper recording software (DAW). You'll learn how to do that for both for a podcast and an audiobook for Audible ACX. For podcasts, the target level should be -16 LUFS (loudness units full scale) for stereo files. For ACX audiobooks, there is a target range of between -23 dB and -18dB. And ACX uses RMS (Root Mean Square) as the loudness measurement instead of LUFS.
This video also shows you how to make sure your audio does not clip (overload), and how to set the maximum peak level to -3dB, which is the maximum loudness allowed by ACX.
