How to Make a Surprised Smiley in Paint.NET
Making a smiley can be done using a combination of the build-in tools in Paint.NET. To make things easier, you can also install and use various plugins from the PDN forums.
This tutorial mainly uses the standard tools, but also a plugin to change color. It's not necessary to use it, and you can add colors through other ways - but it does make it somewhat easier.
To draw the smiley, start by creating a new layer. You can keep the background layer while drawing, but we suggest removing it when you are done.
1. Hold down shift while using the draw shape tool to create the first circle. The first circle is the face itself.
2. Create the eyes in a new layer. Start by creating one eye, then duplicate the layer and flip it to get both eyes.
3. Again in a new layer, start creating the mouth. Duplicate the layer a few times to make teeth and a tongue.
