Canon R5 and RF400mm Sports Photography Visual Review with Metadata
The Canon R5 when paired with the RF400mm f/2.8 lens never ceases to amaze me. These photos were taken at a recent International Rugby 7s tournament in Brisbane, Australia.
The lowlight performance of the R5 can be a concern at times but i was confident enough to push the ISO levels to 12,800 in order to freeze the action sufficiently enough for usable images.
I think the combination did an amazing job especially with the 45mp sensor. This amount of pixel data allows me to crop in to the image without losing significant detail, and with the eye tracking auto focus, i'm able to nail focus far more often.
