TRUE 4K/120Hz Is Here! | Hisense M0210 Is Now Live Via Staggered OTA Rollout

Have you been waiting patiently for the official Hisense 4K/120Hz update? Well, your day has officially come (Or is coming very soon!) thanks to their firmware update M0210 going live.

I have heard from so many of you over the last 2 days, to the point that I wanted to take a moment to reach out to the Hisense social media team to research further. Based on the findings from you the viewers, as well as from talking to Hisense, I am happy to say that firmware M0210 is now officially available for the Hisense U8G/U88G and the U7G/U78G. If you have not been notified of the update on your panel, please try manually searching for new software. If that fails, please sit tight. Hisense informed me that they are in the process of a staggered rollout and are currently within their second week of update deployment. I am not sure how the updates are being sent out, whether it is based on region, model/serial number, or otherwise, but at least you can rest easy knowing the update is soon on its way!
Now, I have also heard some reports from users saying that their saturation is significantly impacted after the update, and the picture appears much dimmer and less vibrant than it was pre-update in 4K/120Hz. Here are a couple of things you can try:
A full power cycle, right down to completely removing power from the television by unplugging the power cable.
Switch your Xbox, PS5, or GPU settings back to 4K/60Hz, then directly back to 4K/120Hz.
Try watching a couple of television or streaming shows in 24/60p in HDR, then switch back to your gaming output device.
It seems that toggling down to 60Hz and back to 120Hz is fixing this issue for some people, whereas others need to sample content in another codec (Dolby Vision, then back to HDR10) to fully restore the appropriate HDR settings to their 4K/120Hz profile. This issue is said to be affecting roughly 15% of total users, so please let me know if you were impacted and whether or not these tips worked for you.
