Camping Kolpa, Vinica - Slovenia
Camping Kolpa, Slovenia is located in the southern part of Slovenia in Vinica, on the left side, just before the border with Croatia. You can camp on the Kolpa camp on soft meadow, choose to rent a mobile home, caravan or sleep in a beautifully decorated glamping room made of clay or wooden hut.
Camping Kolpa is opened from May to September. In other months you just have to announce that you are coming and they will be waiting for you with opened hands.
Campsite is part of the natural park ‘Krajinski park Kolpa’, so the intervening in the nature is limited, which enables you to enjoy its pure beauty and undamaged river Kolpa. Kolpa is one of the clearest and warmest river in Slovenia as it warms up to 27 degrees in the summer.
Camp Kolpa has a renovated and heated sanitary facility, which is decorated in a special style with plenty of natural wood.
The Kolpa river has a calm stream in Vinica and it is suitable for swimming in the summer (organized entry to Kolpa in three places), as well as boating and fishing. There is also a small raft for jumping into the river.
The camp also has a bar with grilled dishes. Shop is in Vinica itself. There is a playground, a trampoline for children, a basket and a volleyball court in the sand. You can also decide for rafting or canoeing around the Kolpa. The location is also suitable for cycling along marked cycling routes.
