Camping Menina - Slovenia
Camping Menina - Savinjska valley is located 800m from the main road Mozirje – Ljubno in a village Recica ob Savinji.
Campsite is situated on the left bank of the river Savinja and is due to its location interesting also to the skiers – it is only 4km from the ski resort Golte. Camping Menina offers camping on arranged camping pitches, rental of mobile homes, glamping wooden houses, bungalows, caravans, tents and rooms in the hostel.
Campsite Menina is open throughout the year, with the exception in November.
In hot summer days you can refresh in the Savinja or in the lake in the camp complex. Valley, in which the camp found its place, is known for its various natural sights and numerous possibilities for sports activities.
Camping Menina offers around 200 arranged camping pitches with electricity connection, some have as well access to water. Campsite has four sanitary buildings, that are heated, there is as well camper supply station.
Menina offers rental of wooden bungalows, mobile homes end eco houses, tents, for larger groups they have hostel with six rooms for 2+1 persons. There are as well sanitary facilities and kitchen, it is as well possible to order half-board (breakfast and dinner) in the camp.
Within the campsite you can rent one of the two wooden glamping houses, which are additionally equipped with a private jacuzzi and a finnish sauna. Glamping houses Bear 1 and Bear 2 are made entirely of wood and offer space for up to 4 people. Two extra beds can be arranged in one house.
Guests will be happy to taste dishes in restaurant with large terrace, nice Finnish sauna and massages.
They have large children's playground, adrenaline park, zip-line, mini golf, climbing wall, animation is organized in summer months. Natural bathing is arranged in its own lake with inflatable aqua park and rental of SUP boards.
It is perfect location for lovers of the mountain biking as well as hiking. Additionally you can try yourself in the rafting, kayaking, fishing, bowling, table tennis, beach volley or football. In the morning you can go jogging and then relax in massage that can be offered as well. Just by the camp recently new sport centre was opened.
