Nestled within the bustling city of Bengaluru, Ambara is a family home of three with their pet dog. They wanted an environment-friendly, utilitarian house built on a site with three abutting neighboring plots.
The main element is the spiraling staircase, with an ovular skylight above, giving a peek at the clouds slowly sailing by. The home has a wide range of natural materials for the walls and jalis making it earthy, while the façade of the home is sheltered by trees.
Principal Architect Prathima Seethur walks us through this beautiful house set on a compact plot of 1,500 sq. ft.
