Carnivore fans: why do some of them tell people NOT TO EAT FIBRE yet they will eat butter BY THE STICK?
Like… literally, just eating it by the stick, out of their hand like it’s a hot dog.
Why? When did this become a thing?
Even if you are a carnivore fan and you want to eat loads of butter, surely there are tastier ways to do it, no?
Anyway, a carnivore fan recently argued with me that fibre was unnecessary.
Because some people have better digestive symptoms when they eat less.
But I find it a bit funny that this is somehow indicative of fibre being unnecessary FOR EVERYONE, when many people on the carnivore diet also report digestive symptoms like constipation and diarrhea.
Especially when fibre is commonly considered to be a staple of many healthy dietary patterns linked with many positive health outcomes.
Do you know what else is unnecessary?
Eating butter by the stick.
