New foam extinguishing robots will replace firefighters
The core of the new systems is the Milrem UGV multi-purpose rescue robot on which fire extinguishing systems are mounted.
The rescue robots can be remotely controlled by firefighters and are equipped with a variety of video cameras, including thermal imaging and infrared, as well as gas and chemical sensors.
The robot's maximum payload of 1200 kg allows it to carry additional equipment, such as foam and water tanks.
