To install Kali Linux 2023.1 on VMware Workstation 17 Pro, you can follow the steps below:

1. Download the Kali Linux 2023.1 ISO file from the official website: https://www.kali.org/downloads/.
2. Open VMware Workstation 17 Pro and click on "Create a New Virtual Machine" from the Home tab.
3. In the New Virtual Machine Wizard, select "Typical" and click "Next".
4. Select "Installer disc image file (iso)" and browse to the Kali Linux 2023.1 ISO file you downloaded in step 1.
5. Enter the virtual machine name and select the location to store the virtual machine files. Click "Next".
6. Enter the amount of RAM and the number of processors to allocate to the virtual machine. Click "Next".
7. Select "Use bridged networking" and click "Next".
8. Choose the disk capacity and select "Split virtual disk into multiple files" if you want to keep the virtual machine files organized. Click "Next".
9. Review the settings and click "Finish" to create the virtual machine.
