After a spinal cord injury from a diving accident on Father's day weekend that left him paralyzed Matthew was looked after by Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Kedar Padhye. Dr. Padhye ended up utilizing an innovative technique to fix his broken neck that also prevented Matthew from being paralyzed for the rest of his life and allowing him full mobility and a full spinal cord injury recovery.
