Jamie had orthopedic surgery following an ATV accident to fix her broken foot. After years the hardware had broken and resulted in an infection of bone that needed to be removed. In order to replace the bone that was removed SLUCare orthopedic surgeon Dr. Tracy Watson utilized a unique method of distraction osteogenesis to stretch the bone to replace the section that was removed.
