Homemade Sausages From Scratch - Cumberland
This week we are making fresh sausages using a classic Cumberland sausage recipe for the perfect breakfast sausage or also for sausage and mash. However if you prefer pork and leek sausages, Lincolnshire sausages, beef sausages, chicken sausages or any variety of sausage then the same technique still applies. You could also try something a little different such as pork and apple sausages or pork and mustard sausages!
A lot of Sausages contain something called rusk, similar to breadcrumbs, which absorb excess liquid, however this recipe does not require any. If you are using an ingredient that will add moisture then you may need to add some.
