Testing the Canon PRO-1100 17" pigment ink printer. How much ink is used if you switch the printer off for a week. All inkjet printers use ink for cleaning and maintenance, but you can reduce the amount if careful.
Basic power management and maintenance settings for the PRO-1100 to reduce ink use.
The printer used a total of 45g of ink for cleaning after being left powered off for a week. That's 3.75g or just under 5% of what a cartridge contains.
