In this video we going to show you How To Use LAMBDA Function In Excel.
If you're a Microsoft Excel user, chances are you've come across the term "lambda." But what exactly is a lambda function, and how can you use it in Excel?
In short, a lambda function is a way to create custom functions in Excel. Unlike regular Excel functions, which are limited to a specific set of tasks, lambda functions can be used for anything you can imagine. Best of all, they're relatively easy to create and use.
To create a lambda function in Excel, simply type "=lambda(" into a cell. This will bring up the Function Arguments dialog box. From here, you'll need to specify the arguments for your function. For example, if you wanted to create a function that multiplies two numbers, you would specify "x" and "y" as the arguments.
Once you've specified the arguments, you'll need to provide the code for your function. This is where things can get a bit tricky, but fortunately there are plenty of resources online that can help you with this step. Once you've written the code for your function, simply hit Enter and your lambda function will be ready to use.
So why bother with lambda functions in Excel
