Why rich people are getting richer and poor getting poorer?
People in the E quadrant usually have an established mindset that puts income security and employer benefits above other things. People who fall under this quadrant earn money by working in a company or for the government and get paid a regular salary. You may have heard of Robert Kiyosaki's book Rich Dad Poor Dad, but few people know that he wrote a second book on the subject, The Cash Flow Quadrant. The S quadrant stands for people in this category who are business owners, freelancers, and contractors. People in the E quadrant are people who own the S and B quadrants.
Self-employed people have to pay self-employment tax, which is 15.3%. Business owners are responsible for their employees and need to make sure that their businesses are profitable. Business owners have to pay corporate tax, which is 21% of their net income. People acquire capital in many ways; some use it to generate income, save it or invest it. The I quadrant focuses on making money without sacrificing time and acquiring assets that make passive income.
Cash flow comes in first, followed by appreciation and then increasing the value of your assets. In addition to cash flow. The I quadrant offers investors many tax advantages unavailable in other quadrants. The 1031 exchange allows investors to sell an asset, defer taxes on the profit, and use the proceeds to purchase another piece of real estate. Making a move from the left side to the right side of the quadrant is not always easy, but it is possible.
