YouTube sucks for your website speed - What to do about it?
YouTube sucks when you use it to embed videos on your website. I'll show you exactly why that is the case, and how it negatively impacts Lighthouse scores.
After I've fixed it, I'll show you how much better the score is, and here's the good news - that means Google will love you more!? So confusing that there are actual benefits to embedding YouTube videos on your website (such as they will then get indexed if its the primary content of the page) but on the other side it slows down the experience for the user. Another metric that Google is reviewing on your site.
