HOW TO SET DEFAULT HEADING STYLES FOR GOOGLE DOCS
One of my co-workers calls the minute details that go into allowing the web to optimize operating procedures ant farming! SO… sign me up as Queen of An Ant Farm!
We have a certain look-and-feel for our Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documents that is kinda fun and bright. Just because you’re doing what some people call the boring stuff of business does not mean it can’t be cute.
Before we put this in place, we had to change the heading style for each and every document when we were creating a new one. Now we’ve shaved off some milliseconds by updating the default styles for every new doc.
HOW TO SET DEFAULT HEADING STYLE FOR GOOGLE DOCS
1. Highlight the headings formatted the way you want. Right click.
2. Select "Update Heading to match."
3. Do this for each heading.
4. From the menu choose Format/ Paragraph styles/Options
5. Select "Save as my default styles."
