Several users that have updated to SteamOS 3.5 now have no access to smokeless to undervolt / overclock. This is normal behavior as the update includes a new BIOS 116 (as of the time of making this video) which needs to be "unlocked" first to expose the PBS / CBS menu.
To unlock the BIOS then read further below. I've also created a video how to unlock the BIOS using SteamOS -

This is using evlaV jupiter-bios-unlock which is an enhanced / extended version of SD_Unlocker.c. It allows to unlock / relock the BIOS.
Before doing this steps, make sure you are at least on BIOS 113. SteamOS 3.5 bundles BIOS 116 so this is good too!
To unlock the BIOS, open konsole terminal and perform the following commands -
1. mkdir BIOS
2. cd BIOS
3. sudo /usr/share/jupiter_bios_updater/h2offt jupiter-$(sudo dmidecode -s bios-version)-bios-backup.bin -O
4. wget https://gitlab.com/evlaV/jupiter-PKGB...
5. chmod +x jupiter-bios-unlock
6. sudo ./jupiter-bios-unlock
7. Shutdown then press VOLUP + POWER to access the BIOS.
8. Verify PBS / CBS is available in the menu.
Congrats the BIOS has been unlocked and you can use Smokeless UMAF. Or just use the PBS / CBS menu..
Additional info regarding the release notes for SteamOS 3.5, specifically for firmware 116. I've been running SteamOS 3.5 MAIN and BIOS 116 since mid-May and you need to "unlock" the BIOS to be able to use smokeless umaf, or to have the additional menus - PBS / CBS.
It will be awesome if in the future a new BIOS update will be available without the need for unlock method.
