The Iron Horse is a thick, robust LM308 distortion that gives you a full plate of destructive dirt tones, and the second version is designed to expand further into the low-gain side, for players who want to harness the same amount of horsepower with maximum versatility. The updated Iron Horse gives you more effective knob ranges to shape your dirt flavors with a scalpel rather than a hatchet, letting you explore lower-gain tones and a more effective unity-gain palette for optimal stacking ability. A single toggle switch on the front unlocks the clipping section of the Iron Horse V2, altering the levels of compression and sustain with the flick of a 3-way switch. The second version of the Iron Horse simply gives you a much more versatile platform, and is anything but a one-trick pony.
