How to Add a Cover Image or Video in WordPress Using Gutenberg
Adding a cover image or video in your WordPress posts or pages is very simple with the Gutenberg Cover block!
Here's what you need to do:
1. Click the + sign to add a new block, search for "cover", then click on the Cover block to insert it.
2. Upload an image or video, or add one from the Media Library.
3. Use the Cover block's toolbar options to customize your cover image or video. You can select the alignment of the Cover block or title, add a link or a strikethrough to the title, and so on.
4. Then, go to the Cover block's settings on the right sidebar, where you can change the color overlay and opacity.
For images, you can also enable the Fixed Background feature, which will add a parallax effect.
This option is not available for videos as well.
