How to Change the Order of Categories and Taxonomy Terms in WordPress

By default, WordPress arranges the taxonomies in an alphabetical order.
To change that order in a custom way, you'll need to install a plugin called 'Category Order and Taxonomy Terms Order'.
After you have installed and activated the plugin, you can check its options by going to Settings - Taxonomy Terms Order in your WordPress Dashboard.
Now, to change the order of your WordPress taxonomies - categories, for example - then you have to go to Posts - Taxonomy Order and reorder them by simply dragging and dropping.
That's it!
