AITA for refusing to support my estranged Entitled parents who wanted to be TikToker?
I (20M) live under the same roof as my dad (41M) and my mom (42F) who have been in an estranged and struggling marriage for as long as I can remember. I started live streaming on Twitch four years ago for fun and it accidentally turned into what I believe to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. I don't make enough to make a living off of it, but I do make a little profit off of the audience I have that chooses to support me. I also make videos for YouTube and Tiktok and make digital art on the side that I post to a variety of platforms. Basically, I'm incredibly passionate about what I do and have been since day one. Due to multiple medical complications, my mom has been out of the work force for several years and everywhere she's ever applied to in recent times has either denied her or simply never answered. As you can imagine, this has caused emotional stress and turmoil for both of my parents and has led to their relationship being at rock bottom over the past year or so. It should be noted that we've always been a low-income family, just barely getting by and that my father has a reputation for being an abusive narcissist. I've seen a handful of psychiatric professionals since before I was even a teen because I've been severely traumatized by the events that have taken place in my own home.
