I have been dating this girl for about six months, and things have gotten really complicated. I’m currently in my country for personal reasons (was supposed to be originally for only slightly over a week, but I've since extended my stay a bit longer), which has given me some space to think. When I was back in her country, she wouldn’t leave me alone in my own place, so it’s been hard to get any perspective until now. Before I left, we had a huge fight. She got mad at me at my friend’s birthday party because she arrived late and felt excluded from a serious conversation I was having. Honestly, I didn’t even want her there that night, but she insisted on staying at my place afterward—even though she lives just 10 minutes away. I was drunk and told her I needed some space (pretty rudely TBH, since I was drunk and pissed that she ruined an otherwise fantastic evening slash night), but she wouldn’t leave.
