Democrat representative holds 'war criminal' sign at Netanyahu address
A congresswoman held a sign labelling Benjamin Netanyahu a "war criminal" as thousands gathered to protest his address to the US Congress.
In his fiery speech, the Israeli Prime Minister praised Donald Trump and branded the protesters “Iran’s useful idiots” who “stand with rapists and murderers”.
Meanwhile, outside, protesters ripped down an American flag outside Union Station, near Congress, and replaced it with a Palestinian flag. Others burnt an effigy of Mr Netanyahu and police were forced to use pepper spray as they marched closer to the Capitol.
