🌫 Blur Effect In OBS Studio!
Learn how to add a blur effect to your stream sources within OBS Studio using StreamFX plugin with this tutorial and guide video.
Unfortunately I'm not aware of a way that you can do this within Streamlabs OBS (SLOBS) / OBS.live or Xsplit but if there is, please let me know in the comments below and I'll ensure to do an updated video about it for SLOBS users.
Adding a blur to your sources and scenes can create an array of really nice effects that can be used on base assets and of course within scene transitions too.
In this video I show how you can install and add blur effects on your stream using StreamFX plugin, and then I show some nice unique ideas on how that could be applied to your stream to create subtle (and some not so subtle) effects such as a blured coloured webcam, a blured transition, and blurring parts of your webcam such as to apply a translucent effect for your stream labels within OBS Studio.
Hopefully I give you some good ideas here for your own Twitch, Facebook Gaming or YouTube Gaming stream and I'm keen to know how you guys use this!
