During class, my teacher asked the class if anyone was interested in building a website for his business.
I was the only one that raised my hand. Even back then, I knew I needed to start getting real-world experience as soon as possible.
1. getting Real-World Experience
2. Set a rate and deadline
3. Figure out what to build it in, went with Bootstrap
4. Communicate with the teacher about the site
5. Figure out hosting and domains
6 Put it on my portfolio
7. Create a case study for the project
8. Get a reference from my teacher for my portfolio site
9. Asked if he had other opportunities lead to an interview with a company he worked with the interview went great, my teacher was listening in since he was part of the company, he said that it was the first interview he ever had the interviewee (me) lead the interview, where I interviewed them to see if they would be a good fit for me
10. Told my other teachers that I was doing freelance work and looking for work -- word of mouth referrals

Hi, my name is Brandy Morgan and my hubby is Josh aka Thor. Our mission with our channel is to document/ vlog our lives together (married) while both growing businesses and taking on new clients.
Our background: I went to Full Sail University and got a degree in Web Development and Design along with a ton of student loan debt. Josh didn’t go to college and has had a very successful career as a software developer. He started his software company with his 2 brothers 3 years ago. They don’t do things like Silicon Valley, as in VC money, but instead take on agency work to pay for their other team members' salaries and business expenses. He employees two software developers out of India who are like family to us and we hope to hire more.
Our goal is to become internet billionaires, dream big, right?! :) No "overnight" success here just progress, daily! We hope you enjoy learning from our mistakes and successes and how to apply them to your life.
