** SEE THE COMMENT BELOW FOR AN EASIER METHOD! Open the VRay Geometry tab options by clicking the arrow on the right side of the menu. Select the Clipper. Then uncheck Affect Lights. Easy! **

This video corrects an earlier video that used the VRayClipper object.

The Clipper removes geometry when we often want to include it in the rendering, so we get an accurate account of the sunlight in a space. The method described in the video uses a 2-sided material to create the proper effect.

Two notes: 1.) there may be better way to achieve this, let me know in the comments; 2.) you may wish to play with the EV levels to get the representation you need; just be careful that you aren't exaggerating the light.
