Manfrotto 323 & 502HD Fluid Head Don't Work... RC2 Quick Release Problems with Fluid Video Heads
I picked up a Manfrotto 502HD (MVH502AH) video fluid head along with the Manfrotto 323 RC2 Quick Release System. Unfortunately, the 323 RC2 system WILL NOT FIT with any flat plate style fluid heads, including Manfrotto 500ah, 502hd and 504hd photo / video heads. This video goes over the affected Manfrotto tripod heads, plates, and quick release systems. You can't use the Manfrotto 323 RC2 with the MVH500AH or the Manfrotto 502HD. You can use the 502HD with the the Manfrotto 577 QR Plate system and the 501PL Plate. Photography is never easy and even mounting quick release plates doesn't go as planned.
