Colombia starts using Ripple XRPL to register land
Colombia has begun using Ripple XPL to register land and has integrated a digital language record system built on the Ripple XRPL Blockchain. Additionally, $XRP Ledger Sees Network Activity Exploding to 2-Year High.
The Colombian National Land Registry was implemented on top of the XRP Ledger by the blockchain development company Peersyst in collaboration with Ripple (XRPL).
High-ranking government officials announced as a part of a national effort to enhance the nation's blockchain capabilities.
Persist announced via their official Twitter account that Colombia's National Land Agency will use their solution. The government body will have the ability to issue digital certificates that can be verified and validated using QR codes.
For its certificates, the platform uses XRP Stamp technology. This technology, created by Peersyst on the XRPL, allows anyone to eliminate friction from document certification using blockchain technology.
A decentralized, safe, and cross-service tool is the XRP Stamp. The XRPL's developers, the blockchain-based company Ripple, worked on the solution for more than a year.
