Test Noise Reduction With Neat Video - Blender Denoise
Hi, I'm rendering a new video (about 400 hours) and in the meantime I've been trying to learn how to use the fantastic program "Neat Video" to reduce video noise.
Obviously I'm still experimenting with it and I could improve the result but it already helped me to decrease rendering times a lot. in this video you can see that with a normal exposure the video noise is acceptable, so I turned up the brightness to show that in any case it was possible to improve the video noise.
I only used 100 samples in 4k and E-cycles. Without Neat Video to obtain a similar reduction I probably would have had to insert 1000 samples or maybe more. So I saved weeks of rendering.
