Sketch Review - End of Roll Rewind
Reviewing several sketches from recent weeks in sequence as most live on one roll of 18 inch x 50 yard roll, The closer a project becomes towards reality the more Sophisticated and intense the documentation of the design process becomes. Ideally entire rolls of trace paper, and hard rice these days with BIM, are dedicated to a single project. The deeper you go into a roll of Trace paper it becomes increasing difficult not to tear of a slice and start fresh, especially in the studio and during design charrettes when the interactions and ideas happen quickly.
