The United Arab Emirates has a total population of about 9.2 million and its GDP (PPP) per capita is high as it is estimated to be $30,984. Life expectancy in the country is 76.7 years which is higher than other Arab countries.
7. Mongolia – 64 ug/m3
It is ranked as the 7th most polluted country in the world with an average PM2.5 pollution of 64 ug/m3. The total population in the country is estimated to be about 2.96 million people and the GDP (PPP) per capita is low as it is just $5,371. The average life expectancy in the country is just 68.5 years and this may show the effect of pollution.
