Project Fi by Google, a Quick Explanation
As usually Google is looking to push the online boundaries into a cheaper more efficient options for everyone across the globe. Recently the company mentioned its plans to jump into the mobile service game by offering something which came to be know as “Project Fi”.
Currently this only works for Nexis 6 owners and it is yet to be seen if it will be opened up to other non Google branded phones. Though what it does is it allows consumers to truly control how much they pay for their usages. Teaming up with other services providers, Goggles service piggybacks off their towers and bounces users from one ot the other without interruption as they travel across distances.
The plans start a $20 a month for a flat rate cost and then you pay $10 per Gigabyte of data you use. The initial $20 also includes unlimited call and text which is incredible to think the best part is if you pay for data and don't use it all, you will be refunded the amount in cash of what you didn't end up using no matter how small the amount.
THose that are considering on buying a new smartphone may look a little deeper into getting off contract and at the Nexus 6 device. However, you will need to be a phablet lover first.
