Echo Falls is a popular hike in the Squamish area of British Columbia, Canada. Located in the Tantalus Range, it offers stunning views of waterfalls, mountains, and the surrounding wilderness. Here are the time stamps:

00:43 Taking a boat to the trailhead
We booked the boat through https://www.squamishwatersports.com/ located here on the Google map in Squamish: https://goo.gl/maps/3K8KxUNhCwBrE5bs5 We were a group of around 30 people and we had booked a total of 4 boats. The price per head was around $55- $60. We reached Squamish water sports at around 8.30 AM. Then we signed the waiver form. After signing the waiver form, we took the boat to the trailhead. The ride to the trailhead takes around 15-20 minutes in the Squamish River. In the morning, the tide was low. So, we could not make it to the real trailhead. That's why we were dropped around 300 meters before the real trailhead. From the drop location to the main trailhead, there were pink ribbons as a marker but it was easy to get lost. Even though it was just 5-10 minutes of walking to the main trailhead because of the overgrowths and bushes. While going back, there was a high tide. So the boats could come near the main trailhead.
00:58 Hike briefing
We were advised by the boat guy to pin the drop location on the map, just in case and there were other instructions given as well before we started the hike
02:05 Heading to the main trailhead
Due to low tide in the morning, we were unable to reach the actual trailhead for the Echo Falls hike. Instead, we were dropped off approximately 300 meters before the designated starting point. To guide us, there were pink ribbons serving as markers along the way, but the path was still somewhat confusing, and it was easy to lose track. Despite the short distance of only 5-10 minutes to the main trailhead, the overgrown vegetation and bushes made it more challenging to navigate. On our return journey, the tide had risen, allowing boats to approach closer to the main trailhead.
02:44 Main trailhead to Echo Lake
Once you reach the main trailhead, you will see a signboard showing two routes. Route one via Monmouth Creek is the recommended UP route. This route follows Monmouth Creek descending directly from Echo Lake. This route is very scenic and has a plethora of waterfalls along the trail. There are many small swimming pools as well along the trail where you can take a break, jump, swim, eat, etc. The trail becomes steep soon and continues to be steep for most of the part. Just after a few minutes into the hike, you will come across the waterfall and water pools. And then the trail continues along the waterfall almost until the entire trail. Since the trail is steep, there are a lot of technicalities involved on the Echo Lake trail such as steep sections, roots, rope sections, chains, ledge, etc. It's important to be careful
04:10 Waterfalls
You will encounter multiple waterfalls along the trail in different landscape settings and watercolors. Take some time out to take pictures and enjoy the pristine waters.
05:27 Most awesome waterfall
06:11 Iron chain section
The trail starts to open up gradually after the first hour. You also start to get the Squamish Valley view from the trail. Almost towards the end of the steepest section, there is an iron chain. This part is sketchy but manageable.
06: 35 Top of the waterfalls
You will see a sign here. It's at the top of the waterfalls. A lot of hikers plan to come only to the top of the waterfalls, not until Echo Lake. So this sign suggests that while going down the hikers take another route which is just 20 meters from the ascending route. The directions are simple. The other route mentions 'Squamish River' via descending trail.
After this point, the trail gets flatter for the next 1 KM before it becomes steep again near the end of the trail or before Echo Lake. I really enjoyed this portion of the hike. It was so peaceful and tranquil with a beautiful water stream always flowing beside you. This part of the hike has a few fallen trees but always keep paying attention to the marker as it's easy to go off trail on this route too. The trail even opens up more and you get a really awesome view of the Squamish Valley. Be sure to take a lot of memories because the descending route is different and not so scenic
