Notion Calendar is finally here! This latest Notion Feature Release is huge. Cron, the Calendar App that Notion bought a few years ago, has been rebranded and reworked into Notion Calendar and features a brand-new exciting integration with the rest of your Notion Workspace.
First up, it's important to understand that Notion Calendar is a completely stand-alone app. You don't even need a Notion Account to use it. All that's required is a Google Calendar (since it currently only works with those) and you're good to go.
But of course, Notion Calendar gets a whole lot better if you also use Notion. For the first time ever, it's now possible to integrate a Calendar App with your Notion Setup. With just a few clicks, your Notion Database entries will show up in Notion Calendar.
However, it's still not Two-Way-Sync. Notion Calendar only displays your Notion Events alongside your Google Calendar Events, but it does not sync them. So if you open your Google Calendar elsewhere, no Notion entries will show up.
Still, even with this limitation, Notion Calendar is a huge update. Since it's based on Cron, it's an amazing Calendar app on its own. My favourite feature? Scheduling Snippets. No more back and forth to arrange a call, just send someone a link and have them pick a time that works best.
