This is my debut full-length album recorded during the fall of 2006 to spring 2007 (released in July 2007). It was recorded at Catherine North Studios in Hamilton, ON and produced by Tom Treumuth. Mixed by Dan Broadback at EMAC Studios in London, ON and mastered by Phil DiMetro at the Lacquer Channel in Mississauga, ON. The culmination of all my years practicing electric guitar in my parents basement, learning from all my early heroes: Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Joe Satriani, Jeff Beck and Eric Johnson. It features my early singing voice which was still very undeveloped. I didn't have very many songs with lyrics so we had to include some instrumentals and covers to fill it out. It was a professional effort with hired musicians (Craig Lapsley on drums, Stan Miczek on bass, Jesse O'Brien on keys) in a big studio with a seasoned producer. Probably a bit pre-mature -- I soon realized how I wanted my music to evolve more acoustically shortly after its release -- but it serves as a great timepiece to my early musical years. I've included the bonus track Machine Gun (by Jimi Hendrix) which was left off the original release.
