The patient sits with both feet on the table or bed, looking forward. Subsequently, she lets herself fall backward with a pillow under her shoulder and her head turned 45° to the right. She stays in this position for 30 seconds. Afterwards, she turns her head quickly 90° to the left side followed by a turn of the whole body to the left so that her nose is pointing at the floor. She stays in this position for another 30 seconds. Subsequently, the patient sits up with her head still turned 45° to the left. She can help herself up by using both arms.
