How to add favourite contact shortcut on home screen | Add phone number to home screen Android
In this video today we will see how to add favourite contacts shortcut to home screen on Samsung device.
If you want to add a shortcut of a contact on the home screen of your Samsung device for quick access then what you do is, tap and hold on this home screen. Select "widget". Scroll down and select this option contact. Now here there are three options. First is "contact". If you select this option, then you will get the option to either call or send a message to the contact. If you select "Direct dial" then you will only get the option to directly call the contact where as if you select "Direct Message", you will only get the option to directly message the contact. I will select contact here and then select "Add". Now select any number and you can see the shortcut of the contact is on the home screen. If I want to move to the first home screen, I will tap and hold and then I will drag this one and I can place anywhere on the home screen. If I select this contact, I will get the option to either call or send a message to the contact.
