If the ringtone in your iPhone cuts off after 2-3 seconds of ringing then let us see what to do. There is one option you have to check. Go to "settings" here. Go to this option "Face ID and passcode". Enter the passcode of your iPhone. Scroll down and there is an option here "Attention Aware Features". So, what does this do is this iPhone will check for attention before dimming the display, expanding a notification when locked or lowering the volume of some alerts. So, volume of some alerts like ringtone might be low or it might be cut off. So, disable this option and once you do it check if the ringtone rings for longer duration or not.
