Youtube originally accepted ad monetization on the first cut of this video mid January 2024.
The video went viral... and a few days later at 45k views, YT removed the video and gave me a strike. ??? The strike could be switched to a Warning if I followed a Policy Training, which I did.
In that Policy training video, it said that videos containing what is potentially considered mature content could be accepted as ad monetization IF the content was displayed in an "educational way with no scene to sexually entice the viewer". OK, got it.
The catsuit in the snow video went into re-editing to purify it and be 100% compliant with the regulation. Two very small 2sec segments were removed from the edit (one close-up of the hips - which was the original segment that warranted the strike according to the YT warning - and a part where the front zipper is being unzipped for about 3 inches), and I added the narration on top of the video to add extra educational explanation on wither a latex catsuit is hot or cold, which is REALLY one of the questions I get asked the most.
I think this new version is even better than the original video because people actually get out of it with a real answer to the question.
💥💥💥 The new edit that you see now was submitted to Youtube, and went immediately into manual review for Ad Monetization. AND...? NOPE. This new "educational re-edit" was NOT accepted by the manual reviewer. 🤔🤔🤔 The video was tagged with a LIMITED AD Suitability Status, which basically means "Yes, your video can be on YT, but NO you wont be allowed any ad monetization from it".
YT does not allow to ask for a manual review again.
