How to connect payments to the quotes tool in HubSpot
In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to connect payments to the quotes tool in HubSpot.
You can collect payments from your customers using a quote that is integrated with the payments tool. With the payments tool connected to your quotes, you can manage your revenue from the CRM without relying on external e-commerce or accounting software.
Steps to follow:
Step 1. In this tutorial, we will show you how you can connect payments to the quotes tool in your account.
Step 2. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Sales in the dropdown menu. Click Quotes.
Step 3. In the top right, click Create Quote. Or start editing one of your existing saved quotes.
Step 4. Select the HubSpot Payments option when you reach the Signature & Payment step.
Step 5. Select the checkboxes next to the type of payment you'll accept. You can collect payment via credit card, debit card, or Automatic Clearing House.
Step 6. To collect a billing address to reduce the likelihood of fraud, select the Collect billing address for credit card purchases checkbox.
Step 7. When selected, the billing address will be added to the payment record.
Step 8. Or you can connect your Stripe account to collect payments.
Step 9. Once done, Click Next, then finish setting up your quote.
Step 10. Now when a customer clicks Check out, the check out page will appear, and the customer can enter their payment details.
Step 11. If the payment is processed successfully, the customer will be brought back to the quote that is now marked as Paid.
