How to Make a Nether Portal in Minecraft
In this video I show how to make a Nether Portal in Minecraft. To build a nether portal you will need at least 10 obsidian blocks, flint and steel, and 3 temporary blocks that won’t fall. To start you will need to place 2 obsidian blocks on the floor next to each other in a line. Following, you will want to place a temporary block on either side. Ontop of these 2 temporary blocks you will need to stack 3 obsidian blocks on top of one another, making the sides of the nether portal.
To finish making your nether portal you will need to place another temporary block ontop of one of the sides. From here you will need to place 2 more obsidian blocks so they are above the first 2 obsidian blocks on the floor. This will finish the nether portal border.
To make a nether portal you need to light the structure using a flint and steel. You can do this by using the flint and steel on the bottom of the portal structure. After doing this your nether portal will be active, allowing you to travel to the Nether.
