How to Turn Off Notifications on PS5 - Friends Online & Game Invites
In this video I show you how to turn off notifications on PS5. You can turn off notifications by turning off the Pop-Up option in the PS5 settings. Alternatively, you can disable just the preview or notification sound if you wish.
Another option is to customize the notification settings. With this method you can change when notifications are shown and what notifications you see. For example, you can select to only see notifications when friends go online during games. This will prevent you from getting friend online notifications during videos or broadcasts.
Additionally, for the when friends go online notifications you can adjust which friends you get notifications from. This means that if you only want to see when a specific people come online then you can. Meanwhile, you won’t get notifications when other friends go online.
Fortunately, there are more notification options that you can adjust to your liking. A great option is the ability to turn off game invitations. You may want to turn off game invitations if you’re watching a movie or streaming content. Additionally, if you’re playing a game you may want to turn off notifications on your PS5 so you aren’t distracted.
