New World "Full Screen" 1440 Second Monitor Workaround
New World has an issue currently with not really being able to adequately use a second (gaming) monitor in full screen / the whole display / visuals settings are borked AF. EDIT: There is now a Monitor Select Function! WOOP WOOP! The "Full Screen" is still cruddy though!
The issue manifests as whenever you try to alter the resolution, or full screen / Windowed, for me at least, it automatically re-centers the game on my 1080p monitor. Even using the outlined workaround (below), do not try to do so in "full screen" mode at 1440p - you will clearly see it isn't 1440, but some weird scaled 1080p.
This is the only way I can get the game looking great on my 1440 and it is just about as full screen as it can be. I tell you, it's a) better than playing in 1080 on my normal monitor and it looks so, so, so much better and plays much better to windowed on 1440 on my 1440 monitor.
