It's time to dive into the mess that is Star Wars Outlaws! Ubisoft's latest release is quickly becoming one of the biggest disappointments in recent gaming history, and we’re here to find out why. This game has been getting slammed for pushing a woke agenda while failing to deliver a captivating experience. But that’s not all—it’s riddled with game-breaking bugs that are driving players away in droves.
The latest disaster? Players are being forced to restart their entire game just to avoid "issues and progression blockers" after the latest patch. Can you imagine dropping full price on a game, only to be told you might need to start over from scratch? Ubisoft’s response? An email suggesting you start a new game with the latest patch—like that's going to fix everything. We’ll be checking out just how frustrating this is in real-time.
And let’s talk about the so-called hero of this story, Kay Vess. She’s bland, uninspiring, and feels more like a product of a checklist than a true Star Wars character. Ubisoft’s obsession with DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) seems to have taken priority over making a game that’s actually fun to play. We’ll see if that comes through during the stream.
The reviews are already in, and they’re not pretty. IGN gave it a generous 7 out of 10, pointing out the exploration while slamming the repetitive combat and overwhelming bugs. But Greg Miller from Kind of Funny Games wasn’t so forgiving, rating it a 4 out of 10 and calling it a below-average experience that fails to deliver on its promises. And let’s not forget how Ubisoft handled the game’s release—they withheld review codes until the last minute, which is never a good sign.
