Interesting ''metaphor'' detail about Shifu 🧐
In the Kung Fu Panda animation, you may have noticed that Shifu always makes the wrong decisions. This is actually shown in the movie with a metaphor. As you know, Master Oogway says that the mind is like water and it's hard to see in choppy water.
This is actually Shifu's emotions getting in the way of his normal thoughts. Shifu makes the first mistake of feeling pity for him and the second mistake of feeling anger towards Tai Lung. The water is choppy again as Shifu makes the decision to fight Tai lung. This shows that he is actually succumbing to his emotions again. As a bonus detail, why do you think Tai Lung's technique that paralyzed everyone didn't work in po? This is actually shown in the middle of the movie. Mentis has a very difficult time finding the nerve endings while doing Acupuncture on Po. This is one of the biggest reasons why Tai Lung couldn't paralyze po.
