How to Prevent Initiative Overload in Schools
On an ugly holiday sweater, you’ll find holiday-themed elements that seem to be randomly thrown on all over the sweater. In this video, I use the ugly holiday sweater as an analogy of how some schools are bombarded with new initiatives, new curriculum programs, and recommendations from consultants and other education leaders every year or every couple of years. Schools become jam packed with new programs and an overload of initiatives; like how these sweaters are overloaded with holiday-themed decorations.
